The invention relates to a structure for a bicycle, comprising a front support (1) which is solidly connected to a bicycle frame (11) at a point in front of the handlebars (10) and a rear support (2) which is also solidly connected to the frame (11) at a point behind the bicycle saddle (12). Two flexible rods (3) are disposed between the aforementioned supports (1, 2) in order to support a roof (4) which provides protection against weather elements. In addition, a plurality of tension members (5) ensure that the rods (3) remain in the relative position thereof and that the roof (4) is kept taut at all times.
