A liquid fuel supply and evaporator system for (100) use in connection with combustion-powered fastener-driving tools comprises an evaporator housing (102) which is disposed in thermal communication with the combustion chamber housing (152) of the tool in order to absorb heat or thermal radiation generated within the tool combustion chamber ( 152). A sintered metal liquid fuel evaporator element (106) is interposed between the evaporator housing and a liquid fuel distribution manifold (114) whereby the liquid fuel is effectively converted into a gaseous fuel which is then transmitted by a gas distribution manifold toward the combustion chamber (152) of the fastener-driving tool.
L'invention concerne un système d'alimentation et d'évaporation de carburant liquide que l'on utilise (100) en liaison avec des outils d'entraînement de fixation alimentés par combustion, lequel comprend un boîtier d'évaporateur (102) disposé en communication thermique avec le boîtier de chambre de combustion (152) de l'outil afin d'absorber la chaleur ou le rayonnement thermique créé dans la chambre de combustion de l'outil (152). Un élément évaporateur de carburant liquide en métal fritté (106) est disposé entre le boîtier d'évaporateur et le collecteur de distribution de carburant liquide (114), le carburant liquide étant efficacement transformé en carburant gazeux qui est ensuite transmis par un collecteur de distribution de gaz vers la chambre de combustion (152) de l'outil d'entraînement de fixation.
