Electronic built-in system for installation in a support structure in a vehicle's passenger compartment, the system comprising: a housing having an outer wall, a first housing interior portion within that outer wall, a second housing interior portion with that outer wall and substantially fluidly isolated from the first housing interior portion, and a front control panel facing the passenger compartment; an electronic module in the first housing interior portion; a first opening in the outer wall which fluidly communicates with the first housing interior portion; a second opening in the outer wall which fluidly communicates with the first housing interior portion; and a cooling unit in the first housing interior portion for guiding cooling air from the first opening, along the electronic module and to the second opening, where the cooling air carries heat dissipated by the electronic module away from the housing.

Il s'agit d'un système électronique intégré destiné à être utilisé dans une structure de soutien elle- même située dans le tableau de bord d'un véhicule automobile. Le système est constitué des éléments suivants : un boîtier pourvu d'une paroi extérieure, d'un premier compartiment intérieur contenu dans cette paroi extérieure, d'un second compartiment intérieur contenu dans cette paroi extérieure et isolé du premier compartiment intérieur ainsi que d'un panneau de commande avant faisant face à l'habitacle; un module électronique contenu dans le premier compartiment intérieur du boîtier; une première ouverture pratiquée dans la paroi extérieure et communiquant aisément avec le premier compartiment intérieur du boîtier; une deuxième ouverture pratiquée dans la paroi extérieure et communiquant aisément avec le premier compartiment intérieur du boîtier ainsi qu'une unité de refroidissement située dans le premier compartiment intérieur et dont la fonction est de diriger l'air de refroidissement provenant de la première ouverture le long du module électronique et vers la deuxième ouverture, par laquelle l'air de refroidissement sort du boîtier, en apportant avec lui la chaleur qui s'est dissipée du module électronique.
