Abstract An electronic level control system for minimizing level variations of liquid in a reservoir. The system comprises an inverted cup, a housing for the cup, for slidably moun- ting the cup. The housing is provided at its top with an aperture and at its lower portion with a liquid inlet for communicating into the cup a liquid from a reservoir in which the liquid level variations are to be minimized. The cup, at its top, is provided with a stem projected upwardly and through the aperture of the top of the housing, whereby the stem is slidable through the aperture. In space relation to the end portion of the stem, a switch is operable by the end portion of the stem. Thus a liquid in the reservoir to be fed through the liquid inlet of the housing rises within the cup thereby raising the cup. When a targeted level is rea- ched the cup and correspondingly the end portion of the stem are in their uppermost position. The end portion of the stem actuates the switch.
