A pipe molding apparatus comprises a moving mold tunnel having a peripheral wall defining shape of plastic pipe made in the moving mold tunnel. The peripheral wall is formed by separate mold block sections which mate with one another through the moving mold tunnel. At least some of those mold block sections define less than half of the peripheral wall of the mold tunnel facilitating capacity of the apparatus to make extremely large pipe diameters without requiring overly onerous mold block section sizes.
