An internal line-up clammp for securing two adjacent pipe sections (P1, P2) together in end-to-end relationship, comprising a first clamping mechanism operable to extend a first set (10) of circumferentially disposed clamping shoes (14) radially into clamping engagement with the interior of a first said pipe section; a second clamping mechanism operable to extend a second set (12) of circumferentially disposed clamping shoes (16) radially into clamping engagement with the interior of a second said pipe section; and a back-up shoe mechanism comprising a plurality of circumferentially extending back-up shoes (20) arranged to provide a radially outer cylindrical surface, said back- up shoes (20) being located axially between said sets of clamping shoes and being extendible radially outwardly into engagement with the interior of said pipe sections (P1, P2) when said sections are clamped by respective said clamping mechanisms.
Bride d'alignement interne, permettant de fixer ensemble, bout à bout, deux segments de tuyau adjacents (P1, P2), et comprenant un premier mécanisme de serrage s'actionnant de façon à étendre un premier jeu (10) de patins de serrage circonférentiels (14) dans le sens radial pour entrer en contact de serrage avec la partie interne dudit premier segment de tuyau; un second mécanisme de serrage s'actionnant de façon à étendre un second jeu (12) de patins de serrage (16) circonférentiels dans le sens radial pour entrer en contact de serrage avec la partie interne d'un second segment de tuyau; ainsi qu'un mécanisme à patins de réserve comprenant une pluralité de patins de réserve circonférentiels (20) agencés de façon à présenter une surface cylindrique externe dans le sens radial, ces patins de réserve étant situés dans le sens axial entre lesdits jeux de patins et étant extensibles vers l'extérieur dans le sens radial pour entrer en contact avec l'intérieur des segments de tuyau (P1, P2) lorsque lesdits segments sont serrés par les mécanismes de serrage respectifs.
