A portable coin holder is made of polymeric material and comprises a casing which has two openings at both ends to receive coins and to release the same, two coaxial cylindrical coin cavities interconnected by a truncated conical cavity, which extend in the casing and each receives a stack of coins of a certain denominations, and a coin-urging mechanism inside the cavities which includes a spring and two movable disc-like spring holders.
