The invention relates to an adaptive device and an adaptive method for adapting the stomach opening of a patient. According to said method, a gastric band (20) having a non-elastic back part (21) on its exterior and a first expandable chamber (25) on its interior is placed around the stomach (M) of the patient for adapting the stomach opening. The stomach opening of the patient is adapted by modifying the amount of liquid in the first expandable chamber (25). For this purpose, the adaptive device (10) comprises a second expandable chamber (55) so that the second expandable chamber (55) is connected to the first expandable chamber (25). The liquid is displaced from the one expandable chamber (25, 55) to the other expandable chamber (55, 25) in order to modify the stomach opening of the patient. The adaptive device can especially be controlled by changing the position of the body of the patient.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé adaptatifs pour adapter l'ouverture de l'estomac d'un patient. Un anneau gastrique (20) comprenant une partie dorsale non expansible (21) sur son côté extérieur et une première chambre expansible (25) sur son côté intérieur est placé autour de l'estomac (M) du patient pour adapter l'ouverture de l'estomac, l'ouverture de l'estomac du patient étant adaptée par modification de la quantité de liquide dans la première chambre expansible (25). À cet effet, le dispositif adaptatif (10) selon l'invention comprend une seconde chambre expansible (55) de sorte que cette seconde chambre expansible (55) soit reliée à la première, le liquide étant déplacé d'une chambre (25, 55) à l'autre (25, 55) pour modifier l'ouverture de l'estomac du patient. Ce dispositif adaptatif peut être commandé en particulier par modification de la position corporelle du patient.
