The invention relates to a method for coke oven chamber suitable compacting of coal, wherein the coal is initially pressed with a suitable pressing device into one or several coal cakes, and with the coal cakes thus obtained being divided with a cutting device into compacts, said compacts being stacked-up one above the other so that these compacts can be loaded into a coke oven chamber for coal carbonization, said compacts permitting a precisely dosed loading of coke oven chambers whilst incurring no coal losses, and said coal compacts being well storable. The invention also relates to an application of the inventive method for the production of coal compacts which serve for being charged into a horizontal coke oven chamber.

L'invention concerne un procédé de compactage de charbon convenant à des chambres de carbonisation, selon lequel le charbon est d'abord comprimé avec un dispositif de compression approprié pour former un ou plusieurs gâteaux de charbon et les gâteaux de charbon obtenus sont divisés en produits compactés, au moyen d'un dispositif de coupe, les produits compactés étant empilés les uns sur les autres de sorte qu'ils puissent être chargés dans une chambre de carbonisation pour y être cokéfiés. Ces produits compactés permettent de charger des chambres de carbonisation de manière dosée avec exactitude et sans induire de perte de charbon. Ces produits compactés sont stables au stockage. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation du procédé selon l'invention pour produire des produits compactés en vue du chargement horizontal de chambres de carbonisation.
