The invention relates to a method of preparing an aramid polymer solution having carbon nanotubes dispersed therein, providing a first dispersion comprising carbon nanotubes and a carrier polymer in a first solvent; providing a first solution comprising an aromatic diamine having an electron affinity lower than that of the carrier polymer and, optionally, a second solvent; adding the first solution to the first dispersion to form a second dispersion; adding an aromatic diacid or aromatic diacid chloride to the second dispersion; polymerizing the aromatic diacid or aromatic diacid chloride with the aromatic diamine to form a carbon nanotube containing aramid polymer or co-polymer in a first aramid solution; isolating the carbon nanotube-containing aramid polymer or co-polymer; and dissolving the carbon nanotube-containing aramid polymer or co-polymer in a third solvent to form a second aramid solution.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une solution de polymère d'aramide dans laquelle sont dispersés des nanotubes de carbone, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à utiliser une première dispersion comprenant des nanotubes de carbone et un véhicule polymère dans un premier solvant ; utiliser d'une première solution comprenant une diamine aromatique ayant une affinité électronique inférieure à celle du véhicule polymère et, éventuellement, un deuxième solvant ; ajouter la première solution à la première dispersion pour former une deuxième dispersion ; ajouter un diacide aromatique ou un chlorure de diacide aromatique à la deuxième dispersion ; polymériser le diacide aromatique ou le chlorure de diacide aromatique avec la diamine aromatique pour former un polymère ou copolymère d'aramide contenant des nanotubes de carbone dans une première solution d'aramide ; isoler le polymère ou copolymère d'aramide contenant des nanotubes de carbone ; et dissoudre le polymère ou copolymère d'aramide contenant des nanotubes de carbone dans un troisième solvant pour former une deuxième solution d'aramide.
