F. Abstract: "Remote-controlled receiver with resupply of energy to battery." In a receiver for use in a remote-control system in which messages are radio-transmitted by means of infrared light, the receiving photodiode circuit is of the forward-biased type and is connected in the forward direction between ground and a voltage which is lower than the knee voltage of the photodiode circuit. As a result, a photocurrent IpO is supplied by the photodiode circuit itself. The low-frequency component of this photocurrent can now be utilized as a charge current for a rechargeable battery. Its lifetime will thus be considerably longer.
