A composition for topical application to the skin for alleviation or preventing of dry flaky skin condition, dandruff or acne comprising one or more stratum corneum thiol proteases. The composition may further comprise a mild reducing agent and/or an additional enzyme selected from glycosidases, other proteases, lipases and mixtures thereof. Optional additional active ingredients include sunscreens, lipids, hydroxy carboxylic acids and ketocarboxylic acids.

L'invention concerne une composition destinée à être appliquée localement sur la peau pour atténuer ou prévenir la desquamation des peaux sèches, les pellicules ou l'acné, et contenant une ou plusieurs protéases de thiol du stratum corneum. Ladite composition peut également comprendre un agent de réduction doux et/ou une enzyme supplémentaire choisie parmi des glycosidases, d'autres protéases, des lipases et des mélanges de ces dernières.
