The curling broom head is formed with a main sweeping body, a pivot assembly having a broom handle receiving portion, and an intermediate body interposed between these main sweeping body and pivot assembly. The pivot assembly has a universal joint between the broom handle receiving portion and the intermediate body. The intermediate body includes a built-in pivot assembly receiving system and may further comprise separate body portions which can be fitted in complementary cavity portions formed on the top face of the main sweeping body. The intermediate body portions and complementary cavity portions comprise mutually hooking structures.
