This invention relates to a shoe for wellbore lining tubing and to a method of locating wellbore lining tubing in a wellbore. In one embodiment, a shoe (30) is disclosed which includes a tubular outer body (32) that is coupled to a wellbore lining tubing (28), and a tubular inner body (36) located within the outer body and coupled to fluid supply tubing (38). A generally annular flow area (44) is defined between the bodies which is in selective fluid communication with the wellbore (10), for the return flow of fluid from the wellbore through a flow port (62) in the outer body, along the shoe and into an annulus (46) defined between the wellbore lining tubing and the fluid supply tubing. A valve assembly (40) of the shoe has an actuating member (92) located within the inner body, and a flow controller (96) for selectively closing the flow port. A ball (98) is used to prevent further fluid flow through the inner body into the wellbore. Exposure of the actuating member to fluid at a first fluid pressure then causes the actuating member to move to an actuating position where the flow controller closes the flow port. Exposure to fluid at a second fluid pressure higher than said first pressure reopens fluid flow from the inner body into the wellbore.
Cette invention concerne un sabot destiné à une colonne de tubage de puits de forage ainsi qu~un procédé permettant de localiser une colonne de tubage de puits de forage dans un puits de forage. Dans un mode de réalisation, on utilise un sabot (30) qui se compose d~un corps externe tubulaire (32) couplé à une colonne de tubage de puits de forage (28), et d~un corps interne tubulaire (36) situé dans le corps externe et couplé au conduit d~alimentation en fluide (38). Une zone d~écoulement généralement annulaire (44) est définie entre les corps, en communication fluidique sélective avec le puits de forage (10), pour l~écoulement retour du fluide provenant du puits de forage par un orifice d~écoulement (62) situé dans le corps externe, se dirigeant le long du sabot et vers un espace annulaire (46) défini entre la colonne de tubage du puits de forage et le conduit d~alimentation de fluide. Un ensemble vanne (40) du sabot possède un élément d~actionnement (92), situé dans le corps interne, et un régulateur de débit (96) destiné à fermer de manière sélective l~orifice d~écoulement. Une bille (98) sert à éviter que le fluide ne s~écoule davantage par le corps interne dans le puits de forage. L~exposition de l~élément d~actionnement au fluide, à une première pression de fluide, entraîne le mouvement de l~élément d~actionnement vers une position d~actionnement dans laquelle le régulateur de débit ferme l~orifice d~écoulement. Son exposition au fluide, à une seconde pression de fluide supérieure à la première, permet au fluide de s~écouler à nouveau du corps interne au puits de forage.
