A two layer structure comprising a fluid permeable, first layer in fluid communication with a fluid permeable second layer is provided. The two layers contact one another substantially only through a plurality of disconnected macrofeatures that project either from the first layer or the second layer. The structure has particular utility as a cover/transfer layer for use in absorbent articles.

L'invention concerne une structure à deux couches constituée d'une première couche perméable au liquide, en communication fluidique avec une deuxième couche perméable au liquide. Les deux couches viennent en contact l'une avec l'autre sensiblement uniquement par l'intermédiaire d'une pluralité de macroéléments séparés les uns des autres et faisant saillie de la première couche ou de la deuxième couche. La structure selon l'invention présente une utilité particulière en tant que couche de couverture/transfert destinée à des articles absorbants.
