Systems and methods that determine reverse DNS entries for IP addresses are described. In one embodiment, a first group of consecutive IP addresses is identified (206), a first configured IP address in the first group is determined (208), wherein the first configured IP address has an associated first domain name, a first non-configured IP address in the first group is determined, and the first domain name is associated with a set of IP addresses from the first configured IP address to the first non-configured IP address.
