A vibration damper connector is positioned between the intake manifold and the carburettor for damping engine vibrations which are transmitted to the carburettor. The damper comprises an elastomeric block positioned between upper and lower metal plates and having an aligned aperture for passage of the fuel air mixture. Fasteners can extend from the metal plates into apertures in the inlet manifold and the carburettor housing without traversing the elastomeric block.
