Abstract A silver halide photographic material containing more than 70 wt % of a polymer latex modified by gelatin to gelatin contents in layers and Tg of the latex polymer being lower than 20° C. is disclosed. The dimentional stability is improved by having been able to combine the high portion of the polymer latex with the gelatin, which was not possible in the past, due to aggregation occured.
