Abstract A method for producing composite members is provided according to which a prefabricated core (1) is guided together with reinforcing filaments (3) guided along its surface through an opening (15) of an elastic diaphragm (14). This permits composite members (1, 2) to be mass produced in an economical manner, whereby the members have an irregular cross-sectional configuration over their length.
