A composition suitable for thermoforming which demonstrates good grain retention at thin gauges, low gloss and whose cost is competitive for many applications, particularly in the automotive industry, is described. This composition contains (a) 10-35 wt.% of polypropylene or an ethylene/propylene copolymer, (b) 0-30 wt.% uncrosslinked ethylene propylene copolymer rubber having an ethylene content 60-80 wt.%, (c) 10-25 wt.% of an ionomeric copolymer of ethylene and an .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated C3-C8 carboxylic acid, (d) 2-6 wt.% of a copolymer of ethylene and glycidyl acrylate or glycidyl methacrylate, (e) 5-20 wt.% polyethylene, and (f) 0-25 wt.% of an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer elastomer.
L'invention concerne une composition appropriée pour un thermoformage, la composition présentant une bonne rétention granulométrique à de faibles épaisseurs, un fini peu lustré et dont le coût est compétitif pour plusieurs applications, notamment pour l'industrie automobile. Cette composition contient: (a) 10 à 35 % en poids de polypropylène ou d'un copolymère éthylène/propylène; (b) 0 à 30 % en poids d'un caoutchouc copolymère éthylène/propylène non réticulé, possédant une teneur en éthylène de 60 à 80 % en poids; (c) 10 à 25 % en poids d'un copolymère ionomère d'éthylène et un acide carboxylique en C¿3?-C¿8? .alpha.,.beta.-insaturé; (d) 2 à 6 % en poids d'un copolymère d'éthylène et d'acrylate de glycidyle ou de méthacrylate de glycidyle; (e) 5 à 20 % en poids de polyéthylène; et (f) 0 à 25 % en poids d'un élastomère copolymère alpha-oléfine/éthylène.
