Inside the casing (1), there are three or more ribs (8) arranged with their longitudinal axes parallel to the closing body's direction of movement when closing so that each rib forms a slide-way for the closing body (5) moving from open into closed position. Into each of these ribs there is cut a first groove (10) in which is placed a shaped part (11) that supports the closing spring (9). At least the ribs arranged approximately op-posite to the tappet (20) have a second groove whose side facing the seat (7) forms a rest edge (18) on which the control edge may rest when the closing body is in open position. When the fusible soft solder component (21) is melting away, the tappet changes its position in axial direction under the force exercised by the closing spring. Due to this change of position, the control edge is no longer resting on the rest edge, and the closing body driven by the closing spring switches over into its close position.

Dans le boîtier (1), il est prévu au moins trois entretoises (8), disposées de manière que leur axe longitudinal soit parallèle au sens de fermeture du corps de fermeture et que chacune d'elles constitue une glissière pour le corps de fermeture (5), lors de son passage de la position ouverte à la position fermée. Il est en outre prévu de premières rainures (10), ménagées dans les entretoises et dans lesquelles est placée une pièce moulée (11) sur laquelle le ressort de fermeture (9) prend appui. Au moins les entretoises disposées approximativement en face du coulisseau (20) présentent une seconde rainure dont la face qui fait face au siège (7) forme, en position ouverte du corps de fermeture, une arête de blocage (18) pour l'arête de commande située sur le corps de fermeture. Lors de la fusion du thermoplomb (21), la composante de la force exercée par le ressort de fermeture induit un déplacement axial du coulisseau. Le changement de position dudit coulisseau fait que l'arête de commande ne repose plus sur l'arête de blocage et que le corps de fermeture passe en position de fermeture sous l'effet de l'action du ressort de fermeture.
