The invention relates to an apparatus and method for positioning articles, comprising multiple unloading operations per cycle. The inventive apparatus comprises means for placing articles (20) in housings (1) that move along the length of a closed circuit which is equipped with at least first and second drop sites (2a, 2b) through which the correctly-oriented articles (20) fall from each housing (1) into a corresponding alignment conduit (3) which moves below, and together with, each housing (1). In addition, compartments (4) are positioned between the alignment conduits (3). According to the invention, transfer means (40) transfer each article (20) from a conduit (3) to a compartment (4) after said article has fallen through the first drop site (2a), but before it has reached the second drop site (2b). Subsequently, extraction means extract the correctly-oriented and -aligned articles (20) from the conduits (3) and compartments (4) and transfer same to an outfeed conveyor.
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de positionner des articles, comprenant plusieurs déchargements par cycle. L'appareil comprend des moyens permettant de placer des articles (20) dans des logements (1) qui se déplacent le long d'un circuit fermé pourvu d'au moins un premier et un second points de chute (2a, 2b) par lesquels les articles orientés (20) tombent de chaque logement (1) à l'intérieur d'un conduit d'alignement correspondant (3) qui se déplace sous et conjointement avec chaque logement (1). Des compartiments (4) sont interposés entre les conduits d'alignement (3). Des moyens de transfert (40) transfèrent chaque article (20) d'un conduit (3) à un compartiment (4) après avoir passé par le premier point de chute (2a) et avant d'arriver au second point de chute (2b). Des moyens d'extraction extraient les articles (20) orientés et alignés de ces conduits (3) et compartiments (4) et les transfèrent à un transporteur de sortie.
