6 Abstract Disposable and returnable containers comprising an insert To ensure the substantially complete emptying of paste-like to highly viscous materials, for example adhesives or sealants, from drum-like disposable and returnable containers, an insert consisting of a circu- lar disc adapted to the internal diameter of the con- tainer and a circular film blank with folding laps, which are fixed to the underneath of the disc, is placed at the bottom of the container before it is filled. The 0.1 to 4 mm thick disc 4 consists of recyclable materi- al, preferably cardboard, polyethylene or polypropylene. The 0.05 to 1 mm thick film blank 1 consists of paper or plastic, preferably polyolefins, polyesters, polyamide or PVC, and is optionally provided with an anti-adhesion coating. Advantage: simple emptying of the container, easy disposal.
