A catheter control assembly 10 includes a support structure 12. A drive arrangement 14 is supported by the support structure 12. An elongate displacement mechanism 16 is associated with the drive arrangement 14 to be displaced at least axially under the action of the drive arrangement 14. A carrier 20, for mounting at least a part of a catheter handle 22, is mounted on the displacement mechanism 16, the carrier 20 comprising a plurality of independently displaceable receiving formations 102, 104 and 106, each receiving formation 102, 104 and 106, in use, receiving a part of the catheter handle and at least two of the receiving formations 102, 104 and 106 being axially displaceable relative to each other.
