A water-treatment device (10) is used to refresh and ~repair~ water by carrying out, in particular, the following steps: acceleration of the water in order to increase the flow rate of the water, subsequent generation of a chaotic flow of the water, and introduction of gaseous oxygen into the chaotically eddying water.
