A glass panel comprising a plurality of spacers (2) interposed between a pair of sheets of plate glass (1A, 1B), an outer circumference sealing portion (4) provided between outer circumferential portions of the two sheets of plate glass, and a suction portion (3) provided on either one (1A) of the two sheets of plate glass and used to vacuum-seal a void (V) between the two sheets of plate glass; and a method of forming the same comprising forming the suction portion (3) by making a suction port (1a) in one sheet of plate glass, providing a blocking plate (6) capable of covering the suction port and being freely laid along a surface of the mentioned sheet of plate glass, and then combining the suction port-carrying sheet of plate glass and blocking plate (6) with each other into a unitary body at a bonding portion (7).

L'invention concerne un panneau de verre comprenant plusieurs espaceurs (2) intercalés entre deux feuilles (1A, 1B) de verre à glace, une partie périphérique extérieure de fermeture hermétique (4) étant par ailleurs placée entre les parties périphériques extérieures de ces deux feuilles de verre à glace, et une partie aspiration (3) disposée sur l'une (1A) de ces feuilles afin d'être utilisée pour fermer hermétiquement un vide (V) situé entre les deux feuilles de verre à glace. Cette invention concerne également un procédé permettant de fabriquer ce panneau, ce procédé consistant à former ladite partie aspiration (3) par l'intermédiaire d'un orifice d'aspiration (1a) ménagé sur l'une desdites feuilles de verre à glace, de manière à constituer une plaque de blocage (6) capable de recouvrir cet orifice d'aspiration et de reposer librement sur une surface de la feuille de verre à glace susmentionnée. On assemble ensuite la feuille de verre à glace sur laquelle est ménagé l'orifice d'aspiration avec ladite plaque de blocage (6), afin de former un corps monobloc au niveau d'une partie liaison (7).
