Pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidines of the formula I (see formula I) and their physiologically acceptable salts, in which R1, R2, R3, R4 and X have the meanings indicated in Claim 1, exhibit phosphodiesterase V inhibition and can be employed for the treatment of disorders of the cardiovascular system and for the treatment and/or therapy of potency disorders.
