The present invention relates to a blend of polymeric materials comprising: (A) of from 1 to 80 percent by weight (based on the combined weights of Components A and B) of at least one substantially random interpolymer; wherein said interpolymer; (1) contains of from 0.5 to 50 mole percent of polymer units derived from; (a) at least one vinyl or vinylidene aromatic monomer, or (b) at least one hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, or (c) a combination of at least one vinyl or vinylidene aromatic monomer and at least one hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer; (2) contains of from 50 to 99.5 mole percent of polymer units derived from at least one aliphatic .alpha.-olefin having from 2 to 20 carbon atoms; (3) has a melt index (I2) of from 0.01 to 100 g/10 min; and (4) has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of from 1.5 to 20; (B) of from 20 to 99 weight percent based on the combined weights of Components A and B of one or more engineering thermoplastics.
L'invention concerne un mélange de matériaux polymères comprenant (A) de 1 à 80 % en poids (sur la base sur des poids combinés des composants A + B) d'au moins un interpolymère sensiblement aléatoire. Ledit interpolymère contient (1) de 0,5 à 50 % en moles d'unités de polymère dérivées, a) au moins un monomère de vinyle ou de vinylidène aromatique, ou b) au moins un monomère de vinyle ou de vinylidène cycloaliphatique ou aliphatique empêché, ou c) une combinaison d'au moins un monomère de vinyle ou de vinylidène aromatique et au moins un monomère de vinyle ou vinylidène cycloaliphatique ou aliphatique empêché; (2) de 50 à 99,5 % en moles d'unités de polymère dérivées d'au moins une alpha-oléfine aliphatique possédant 2 à 20 atomes de carbone; (3) un index de fusion (I2) de 0,01 à 100g/10 min; et (4) une distribution en poids moléculaire (M¿w?/M¿n?) de 1,5 à 20. (B) de 20 à 99 % en poids sur la base des poids combinés des composants A et B d'un ou plusieurs thermoplastiques mis au point par génie chimique.
