A snowmobile support assembly for facilitating the displacement of a stationary snowmobile over a floor comprises a rollably displaceable floor frame, a ski supporting element mounted on the floor frame and adapted to receive one or more steering skis of the snowmobile thereon and a belt supporting element mounted on the floor frame that includes a first ramp for receiving thereon the driving belt when the snowmobile is driven thereon and a second ramp for directing the driving belt when the snowmobile is driven therefrom. As the snowmobile is driven onto the supporting assembly, the one or more steering skis mount to rest on the one or more ski supporting elements while the belt moves along the first ramp, the steering skis and belt resting on the belt supporting element at the distance above the floor, whereby the support assembly with the snowmobile mounted thereon may be rollably displaced over the floor.
