Dog Gone Flies is an ointment that I have invented to try to help dogs with the terrible problem of flies eating at their ears during the warm months of the year. Because the tips of animal ears are thin fleshed, flies are attracted to this area and once blood is drawn. they continue to swarm the area causing infection and pain. As the owner/operator of an herb farm called Plenty of Thyme, I have the extensive knowledge of the properties that each herb exhibits, Using pure petroleum jelly as my base. I incorporated the herbs that 1 researched to have the properties that repel flies. I quickly discovered that this ointment was very successful. It is also known to repel flies from any wounds and abrasions they may obtain. I clearly feel that it is marketable and would like the opportunity to share this product with Veterinarians etcetera.
