(R')y where R and R1, which may be the same or different, each represent straight or branch-chained alkyl of 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and x and y are each 1 or 2, the sum of x an y being 3; and phenmedipham, desmedipham, metamitron, lenacil, ethofumesate or chloridazon in association with a suitable carrier and/or surface active agent, and a method of combating weeds.
