Fine-celled rigid polyurethane foams are produced by reacting polyisocyanates with compounds containing at least two reactive hydrogen atoms in closed molds, wherein a) the reaction components are loaded with gas under pressure before being introduced into the mold, b) the mold is pressurized before, during or after introduction of the reaction mixture, c) depressurization takes place in the mold after introduction of the reaction mixture into the mold and before the rigid foam has set.

Des mousses de polyuréthane rigides et micro-alvéolaires sont produites en faisant réagir dans des moules fermés des polyisocyanates avec des composés renfermant au moins deux atomes d'hydrogène réactifs. Au cours de ce procédé : a) les réactifs sont chargés de gaz sous pression avant d'être introduits dans le moule; b) le moule est pressurisé avant, pendant et après l'introduction du mélange réactionnel; c) la dépressurisation intervient dans le moule après l'introduction du mélange réactionnel dans celui-ci et avant le durcissement de la mousse rigide.
