By heating at above the melting point and/or glass transition point of the polycondensate and adding an aromatic dicyanate; or adding a mixture comprising an aromatic dicyanate and a polyfunctional compound selected from the class of sterically hindered hydroxyphenyl-alkyl-phosphonic esters and monoesters, diphosphonites and secondary aromatic amines; or adding a mixture comprising (i) an aromatic dicyanate; (ii) at least one polyfunctional compound selected from the class of sterically hindered hydroxyphenyl-alkyl- phosphonic esters and monoesters, diphosphonites and secondary amines, and (iii) a difunctional epoxide, it is possible to bring about an increase in the molecular weight and/or viscosity of virgin polycondensate and polycondensate recyclates.

On peut réaliser une augmentation du poids moléculaire et/ou de la viscosité de polycondensats vierges et de produits de recyclage de polycondensats en chauffant le polycondensat à un niveau supérieur au point de fusion et/ou au point de transition vitreuse du polycondensat en ajoutant un dicyanate aromatique, ou bien en lui ajoutant un mélange comprenant un dicyanate aromatique et un composé polyfonctionnel sélectionné dans la catégorie d'esters et de monoesters hydroxyphényle-alkyle-phosphoniques à encombrement stérique, de diphosphonites et d'amines aromatiques secondaires, ou bien en lui ajoutant un mélange comprenant (i) un dicyanate aromatique, (ii) au moins un composé polyfonctionnel sélectionné dans la catégorie d'esters et de monoesters hydroxyphényle-alkyle-phosphoniques à encombrement stérique, de diphosphonites et d'amines secondaires et (iii) un époxyde difonctionnel.
