A three part laminated material (4) for use in making blister packages and a method of making such a material. The material is comprised of a central core layer of fluoro-polymer based sheet material (22) to each side of which a separate polymer film (18, 24) is adhesively attached. In the preferred embodiment, each of the polymer films (18, 24) is polyvinyl chloride, although a variety of chemically different films may be used. The disclosed material provides a high moisture barrier, a stable inter-laminar structure and outer surfaces which lend themselves well to bonding with other materials.
L'invention concerne une matière (4) stratifiée en trois éléments qui s'utilise dans la fabrication d'emballages-coques, et un procédé de fabrication de cette matière. La matière est constituée d'une couche centrale en feuille de polymère fluoré (22), un film polymère (18, 24) séparé étant collé sur chaque face de celle-ci. Dans la forme de réalisation préférée, les films polymères (18, 24) sont en polychlorure de vinyle, mais divers films chimiquement différents peuvent être utilisés. La matière décrite constitue une barrière très efficace contre l'humidité, présente une structure interlaminaire stable et des surfaces extérieures qui se collent aisément à d'autres matières.
