A multi-string well has an electric submersible pump (ESP) that can be removed without killing the well. A slotted liner is sealingly secured externally to casing and internally to a guide string that remains in the wellbore when the ESP is removed. A ported sub is part of the guide string and a concentric screen that can have instruments that moves relatively to the guide string can selectively allow flow in an annulus between them and to the ported sub or that annulus between the guide and concentric strings can be blocked off by manipulation of the concentric string to close the ported sub. With the lower portion of the well now blocked off, the wellhead can be removed so that the ESP can come out with the production string. The device has particular application to steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) systems as well as other downhole applications.
L'invention concerne un puits à plusieurs trains de tige présentant une pompe submersible électrique (ESP) pouvant être retirée sans détruire ledit puits. Une colonne de tubage perdue présentant des fentes est solidement fixée de manière étanche à l'extérieur du tubage et à l'intérieur d'un train de tiges de guidage qui reste dans le puits de forage une fois l'ESP retiré. Une réduction présentant des orifices fait partie intégrante du train de tiges de guidage, et un écran concentrique qui peut présenter des outils qui se déplacent par rapport au train de tiges de guidage peuvent permettre un écoulement sélectif dans un anneau situé entre eux, et jusqu'à ladite réduction à orifices, ou ledit anneau, situé entre le guide et les trains de tige concentriques, peut être bloqué par manipulation du train de tiges concentrique pour fermer ladite réduction. Une fois la partie inférieure du puits bloquée, la tête de puits peut être retirée de sorte que l'ESP peut sortir avec le train de tiges d'exploitation. Le dispositif selon l'invention convient particulièrement pour des systèmes de drainage gravitaire assisté par la vapeur (SAGD), ainsi que pour d'autres applications de fond de trou.
