An electrically conductive porous body for a fuel cell has a porous metal body (40,50) and an electrically conductive layer (20,30) that is disposed on one surface side of the porous metal body (40,50) and that has gas permeability, wherein at least a part of the one surface side of the porous metal body (40,50) is buried into one surface side of the electrically conductive layer (20,30) , and wherein the flatness of the other surface side of the electrically conductive layer (20,30) , into which the porous metal body (40,50) is not buried, is higher than the flatness of the one surface side of the porous metal body (40,50) . Sufficient contact surface area is obtained between the porous metal body (40,50) and the membrane electrode assembly (10) , without applying pressure to the porous metal body (40,50) . It is therefore possible to achieve a low contact resistance with the membrane electrode assembly (10) , without causing a change in the internal condition of the porous metal body (40,50) .

Le corps poreux électriquement conducteur selon l~invention pour une pile à combustible comporte un corps métallique poreux et une couche électriquement conductrice qui est disposée sur un côté de la surface du corps métallique poreux et qui présente une perméabilité au gaz, au moins une partie dudit côté de la surface du corps métallique poreux étant enterré dans un côté de la surface de la couche électriquement conductrice, et la planéité de l~autre côté de la surface de la couche électriquement conductrice, dans laquelle le corps métallique poreux n~est pas enterré, étant supérieure à la planéité du côté de la surface du corps métallique poreux. Une aire de surface de contact suffisante est obtenue entre le corps métallique poreux et l'ensemble électrode membranaire sans appliquer de pression sur le corps métallique poreux. Il est donc possible d~obtenir une faible résistance de contact avec l~ensemble électrode membranaire, sans causer de changement dans les conditions internes du corps métallique poreux.
