ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is a large number of fishing devices described in the patent literature designed to be assembled for use and disassembled for transport. Many of the devices are relatively complicated and/or difficult to assemble and disassemble. A simple ice fishing kit includes a container for carrying the remaining elements of the kit which include a post for mounting on the container, a yoke pivotally mounted in the bifurcated upper end of the post for supporting a collapsible fishing rod, a wind blade for mounting in the upper end of the post for supporting a reel on one end of the fishing rod and for movement by the wind to cause jigging of the bait, and a resilient flag fixed at one end to one top arm of the post and bendable to engage a bracket on the other arm of the post, whereby rotation of the yoke when a fish strikes causes release of the flag, permitting the latter to spring to an elevated position.
