A raceway housing for managing a plurality of wires including pivotally coupled base and cover members each having cooperating securing elements allowing the cover member to be securely latched to the base member when the housing is closed. The securing elements include a groove and catch on the base member that engage first and second hooks on the cover member. A hinge member joins the base member and the cover member so that the cover member is movable relative to the base member along the hinge member between open and closed positions. Upon damage or breakage of the hinge member, the cover member remains secured to the base member due to the interlocking nature of the securing elements.
