The tablet comprises a pharmaceutical composition containing KRP-197 as an active ingredient and a gel-forming material.

L'invention concerne un comprimé à libération prolongée pour l'administration par voie orale, ce comprimé ne provoquant pas d'augmentation rapide de concentration de 4-(2-méthyle-1-imidazolyle)-2,2-diphénylbutylamide (KRP-197) dans le sang au début de l'administration et permettant d'en maintenir une concentration adéquate dans le sang sur une période prolongée. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le comprimé à libération prolongée pour l'administration par voie orale selon l'invention est obtenu par addition d'une substance formant un gel à une composition médicale contenant le KRP-197 comme agent actif.
