A goalie hockey stick including a shaft, a paddle and a blade. The paddle and blade are rigidly attached, so that the heel section of the blade protects the heel section of the paddle . The paddle is so designed that the paddle has a solid core extending completely across the paddle's width and length. The shaft is rigidly attached to the paddle above the blade section. The unique lamination is such that the shaft, paddle and blade form a more durable goalie hockey stick.
