This invention relates to a foldable wheelbarrow and a foldable hand cart. Both comprise a pair of foldable handle members, a pair of leg members connected to the handle members, one or more wheels rotatably connected to the handle members, and a collapsible container connected to the handle and leg members. The handle members have a pair of rear handle segments and a front handle segment; the front handle segment has a pair of transversely-spaced, generally longitudinally-extending portions and a transversely-extending portion connecting the longitudinally-extending portions together. Each longitudinally-extending portion is rotatably connected to an associated rear handle segment thereby enabling the handle members to rotate between an erected position in which the rear handle segments are in a generally rearwardly-extending position for gripping by the hands of a user, and a folded position in which the wheelbarrow is made more compact.
