A product retention package (10) is disclosed, wherein the package is configured to form a sealed internal cavity (16) for receiving a product (18), particularly transdermal delivery systems, patches, bandages, films, sheets, and the like. A retention means (20,26) is formed in association with the cavity to maintain the position of the product distal to a predetermined opening location. By controlling the position of the product within its packaging, the user can more easily and safely open the package at its predetermined opening location without damaging the product.

L'invention concerne un emballage de produit à dispositif de rétention (10) formant une cavité interne étanche (16) qui reçoit le produit (18), en particulier du type: systèmes de délivrance transdermique, pansements, bandages, films, feuilles, etc. Un dispositif de rétention (20,26) est établi en association avec la cavité pour maintenir le produit en position distale par rapport à un point d'ouverture prédéterminé (22). En contrôlant cette position dans l'emballage, l'utilisateur ouvre avec une facilité et une sécurité accrues l'emballage en son point d'ouverture sans endommager le produit.
