A pipe collar (10) for attachment to the ends of two adjacent pipes that forms a seal and connection between the pipes. The collar has two separable arcuate halves (15 and 20). A projection (16) interlocks with a bearing surface (22) to allow hinging from an open position to a closed position. In its closed position, flanges 17 and 26 are adjacent allowing clamping together with a bolt or other clamping means.
