The invention provides a lubricating composition containing (a) 0.1 to 15 wt % of a polymer with (i) a weight average molecular weight of 100, 000 to 500,000; and (ii) a shear stability index of 10 to 60; (b) a phosphorus-containing acid, salt, or ester; (c) a dispersant; and (d) an oil of lubricating viscosity. The invention further provides a method for lubricating a mechanical device with the lubricating composition, comprising the polymer having radial or star architecture
L'invention concerne une composition lubrifiante contenant (a) de 0,1 à 15 % en poids d'un polymère ayant (i) un poids moléculaire moyen pondéré compris entre 100 000 et 500 000; et (ii) un indice de stabilité au cisaillement compris entre 10 et 60; (b) un acide, sel ou ester contenant du phosphore; (c) un dispersant; et (d) une huile de viscosité lubrifiante. L'invention concerne également un procédé de lubrification d'un dispositif mécanique avec la composition lubrifiante.
