A pigment yellow 74 obtained by coupling a coupler component containing 2-methoxyacetoacetoanilide and an acetoacetoanilide derivative of the following formula (1) in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mol %, based on the 2- methoxyacetoacetoanilide, and a diazo component obtained by diazotizing 2-methoxy-4-nitroaniline, (see formula 1) wherein X may be the same or different and is CONR1R2, SO2NR1R2, NHCOR1, CONH(CH2)K NR1R2 or SO2NH(CH2)K NR1R2 (in which each of R1 and R2 is independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or R1 and R2 together form a cyclic structure, and k is an integer of 1 to 4), m is 1 or 2, Y may be the same or different and is R3, OR3 (in which R3 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group), COOH or SO3H, and n is an integer of 0 to 2, and a printing ink composition comprising the above pigment yellow 74.
