A system for mounting a sign to a post comprises an elongated channel member adapted to be mounted on a backside of a sign and a bracket adapted to be mounted to a post to which the sign is to be mounted. The bracket has a channel engaging portion adapted to be slidably engaged into the channel member on the backside of the sign. The bracket comprises an endless collar extending along a continuous closed line and adapted to be fitted over the post. The collar defines at least one transversally oriented hole in which a threaded fastener is threadably engaged with a leading end thereof projecting inwardly of the continuous endless collar for exerting a pushing action on the post in order to secure the collar on the post while at the same time drawing the channel member against the post so as to prevent relative movement between the sign and the bracket.
Un système de montage d'une enseigne à un poteau comprend un élément de passage allongé adapté pour être monté sur une face arrière d'une enseigne et un support adapté pour être monté sur un poteau sur lequel l'enseigne doit être montée. Le support est muni d'un passage engageant une partie adaptée pour être engagée de manière coulissante dans l'élément de passage sur la face arrière de l'enseigne. Le support comprend un col sans fin se prolongeant le long d'une ligne fermée continue et adapté pour être installé sur le poteau. Le col définit au moins un orifice orienté de manière transversale dans lequel une fixation filetée est engagée par filetage avec un bord d'attaque se projetant vers l'intérieur du col sans fin continu pour exercer une action de poussée sur le poteau de façon à sécuriser le col sur le poteau alors que simultanément tirant l'élément de passage contre le poteau de façon à empêcher un mouvement relatif entre l'enseigne et le support.
