An electrodeless lamp comprising an envelope (1) filled with a discharge gas, a magnetic core (7), an induction coil (6) wound around the magnetic core (7), a drive circuit for driving the electrodeless lamp by supplying current to the induction coil (6), a socket (10) for receiving power supplied to the lamp, and heat conducting means (8, 9) thermally connected to the magnetic core (7) and the socket (10), for conducting heat generated in the magnetic core (7) to the socket (10).

L'invention concerne une lampe sans électrode, qui comporte une enveloppe (1) remplie d'un gaz de décharge, un noyau magnétique (7), une bobine d'induction (6) enroulée autour du noyau magnétique (7), un circuit d'excitation qui sert à exciter la lampe sans électrode en alimentant en courant la bobine d'induction (6), une douille (10) pour recevoir le courant fourni à la lampe, et un moyen (8, 9) de transfert de chaleur relié thermiquement au noyau magnétique (7) et à la douille (10) pour conduire la chaleur produite dans le noyau magnétique (7) vers la douille (10).
