In addition, the invention concerns a method for the determination of an analyte by means of heteropoly blue formation which is characterized in that the analyte is reacted with a substance which leads to an aromatic amine rich in electrons which is brought into contact with a sparingly soluble salt of a heteropoly acid as well as a corresponding agent.
