A method is provided for forming a graft in heart tissue which comprises the transplantation of cells chosen from cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells and skeletal myoblasts. The grafts are especially useful in treating scar tissue on the heart. Also provided is a method of isolating and culturing cardiomyocytes for use in such grafts.
L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de constituer un greffon dans le tissu cardiaque, qui consiste à greffer des cellules choisies entre les cardiomyocytes, les fibroblastes, les cellules musculaires lisses, les cellules endothéliales et les myoblastes squelettiques. Ces greffons sont particulièrement utiles pour traiter les tissus cicatriciels du coeur. L'invention concerne également une méthode permettant d'isoler et de cultiver des cardiomyocytes destinés auxdites greffes.
