ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Electrical outlets, electrical power cords, household extension cords and electrical appliances including three electrical conductors, one of which isconnected to the ground, may advantageously be provided with an electrical lamp mounted in series between a conductor connected to the ground and one of the other conductors containing power, in order to provide the visual indication that the conductor connected to the ground is operative in use and that, accordingly, theelectrical device can be safely used. Advantageously, the device may also comprise another lamp mounted in series between the conductors that are not connected to the ground in order to provide the visual indication that the current is circulating through this conductor upon connected to the ground as soon as the electrical device is energized.
